James Kratochvil

President

After earning a degree in Finance from the University of Illinois, I spent most of my career in the Manufacturing Sector holding accounting and financial positions at General Foods, Kusan Mfg, and Berry Plastics.  In my 28 years with Berry I primarily held the position of Chief Financial Officer as the company grew from $20 million in annual Revenue, to over $4.5 Billion in revenue.  After acquiring International Revolving Door in 2015 my son Joshua and I have  retooled and recapitalized the entire Company, which has long been recognized as a leading manufacturer of high end superior quality revolving doors, serving both the Architectural and Security door marketplace.

Joshua Kratochvil

General Manager

My name is Josh Kratochvil, I am the General Manager and one of the owners at International Revolving Door. I started my professional career in 2010 working for a financial firm. At the age of 18 I passed both the Series 7 and the Series 66 exams. I then became a licensed financial advisor. At the age of 19 I passed my property and casualty insurance licensing exam for the state of Indiana. In 2015 my college advisor informed me the owner of International Revolving Door had passed away. They were planning on shutting down and liquidating all of the assets. My dad and I immediately began our due diligence. International Revolving Door began its operation under IRD Group, Inc. in 2015, and I have dedicated my time and attention to growing and expanding the brand. Revolving Doors and entrance solutions has become a passion of mine, and I look forward to helping clients achieve their goals and address their needs in the future.

Whitney Kratochvil

Sales & Estimating Manager

Hi, I’m Whitney! I began my career with International in 2017, after graduating from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. You may find me on the phone speaking with a customer, assisting with estimates, or speaking with our employees about an upcoming luncheon. I have never been one to box myself into one role; I like to stay busy with a variety of challenging tasks. I am originally from Indiana, however, I love a good getaway. Shopping, camping, and trying new foods are a few of my favorite hobbies! I truly love working for a company that offers such a unique product. 

Jacob Hickrod

Part Specialist

Professional Daddy, Parts specialist and Adept customer service representative.

I am a passionate customer service and sales nut that specializes in revolving doors brand new through 100 years old.  My forte is analyzing your problem, identifying the issue and providing a solution.  In most cases I know just the guy to complete your job locally – however IRD is happy to travel anywhere in the US.

I have completed many jobs in both high and low profile buildings.  No matter the scope of the job, I work tirelessly to ensure that my contacts leave with a sense of satisfaction, the know-how and accurate parts for job completion.  My business is built on dedication, trust and communication.  I provide my personal line to all contacts and I am always eager to start new projects.

While not at work you can catch me crashing Hotwheel cars with my son and spending time with my wife.  While we are food connoisseurs, we could live off of pizza and sushi.  Hiking and camping put me in my happy place and I enjoy a nice day at the ballpark and cold craft beer from time to time.

My name is Whitney Ridener. I started with International Revolving Door, as their Estimator, in January 2020. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Southern Indiana. I like shopping, spending time with family, and binge watching Netflix.
